Please ensure before making a booking that you are familiar with and agree to the conditions for the use of the premises as detailed below.
1. Funerals and weddings take precedence over all other bookings, which may have to be cancelled.
2. The building is used by a number of organisations so please respect other users.
3. You may only use the rooms that are booked and agreed. The period booked must include time for setting up and clearing up afterwards.
4. Use of the kitchen is for all hirers for making tea/coffee, etc. If you require exclusive use, this must be included in the booking.
5. Please leave the outer door to the Concourse closed except when accessing and ensure you have a representative in the Concourse to open the door to admit your members.
6. There are tables and chairs etc available in all the rooms. Hirers are responsible for setting up the room and then returning them to storage. If it is necessary to borrow furniture from other rooms (if they are not in use), please return them after your event.
7. Payment of all fees must be made prior to the event unless invoice procedures have been agreed with the lettings officer. These invoices must be paid within 14 days. Failure to comply will mean no further bookings will be accepted.
8. There is limited car parking and spaces cannot be reserved. Please do not leave vehicles in the car park outside the hours of your booking.
9. Consumption of alcohol is only allowed with prior permission from the elders. Therefore, please make sure any request is in good time with details of the events.
10. Please remove all rubbish from the premises and car park as there is no facility for Hirers to leave any rubbish either in the Biffa bin or beside it.
11. Certain activities may not be aligned with our Christian principles, may be deemed to have the potential to cause damage to the building or be considered un-neighbourly. If in doubt, please consult the lettings officer.
