What size is the hall ?
15.33 metres x 7.87 metres (height 4.2 metres to the cross bars)

Do you have a kitchen I can hire with the hall ?
Yes, we have a modern fully fitted stainless steel kitchen with 2 ovens, numerous gas hobs, warming cabinet, fridge, microwave, water heater (which provides instant boiling water for tea/coffee). The kitchen has been rated 5 (very good) on the Food Hygeine Scheme.
Is the kitchen near to the hall ?
Yes the kitchen is next to the hall and is connected via a large serving hatch. (The shutters on the serving hatch can be opened or left closed, as you wish)
What is the maximum capacity of the hall ?
The hall seats approximately 100 people (more if standing)
Can we put up party decorations ?
Yes, but only with something non-permanent like blu tak, and they must be removed at the end of the party
How many tables and chairs are there in the hall ?
Approximately 18 large trestle tables and 100 chairs
What size are the trestle tables in the hall ?
183cm x 76cm (6ft x 2.5ft)
How many people can I seat around each table ?
6 to 8 people per table (comfortably)
Can we play badminton in the hall ?
Yes, there is a badminton court marked out on the floor
Can we play football in the hall ?
No hard footballs/ball games are allowed in the hall (just the soft sponge balls small children use)
Is the hall suitable for dance and aerobic classes ?
Yes, the hall is perfect for dancing. It is a wooden floor, covered in wood-effect vinyl sheeting
Can you provide food/drinks ? Do you do provide any catering ?
No, the hall is completely self service
Can we bring in our own caterers ?
Yes
Can you put the tables and chairs out for us ?
No, we don't have a caretaker. The hall is completely self service.
What shall we do with our party rubbish ?
Please take all your rubbish away with you and dispose of it responsibly. (We do not have the facilities to deal with everyone's rubbish)
Do you have a PA system in the hall ?
Yes, by special arrangement in advance. There are installed speakers, PA amplifier, and a loop and loop amplfier for the hard of hearing. A lapel radiomicrophone is available.
Do you have a sound system ?
No, if you want music you will have to provide your own
Can we serve alcohol in the hall ?
Alcohol can only be served in the hall by special permission of the elders; we do not have a licence so you will not be allowed to sell alcohol
